Tufted Duck X Pochard (Aythya hybrid): an adult at Tirat Tzvi fish ponds, 19-20/Oct (A. Chaver, A. Ben Dov).

Black-winged Kite (Elanus caeruleus): 1 between Kfar Ruppin and Maoz Hayyim - probably a returning bird, 16/Oct (A. Bluman, I. Shimshon).

White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla): 1 in migration over Beit Shearim, 06/Oct (B. Granit); 1 juv, near Ein Hamifratz fish ponds, 19-26/Oct (S. Luria, R. Marcus).

Demoiselle Crane (Anthropoides virgo): an adult at the Hula re-flooded are, 16/Oct (I. Shanni).

Black-winged Pratincole (Glareola nordmanii): 1 at Nizzana, 16/Oct (A. Ben Dov, R. Livne); 1 at Km 20, 21/Oct (J. Meyrav).

White-tailed Lapwing (Vanellus leucurus): 1 Sde-Eliyyahu sewage, 02/Oct (A. Rinot); 1 at Eliphaz sewage, 21/Oct (J. Meyrav).

Sociable Lapwing (Vanellus gregarius): 3 at Giv'at HaShlosha, 03/Oct (Dudu); 1 at Maoz Hayyim, 07-08/Oct (B. Granit, T. Kahn, T. Landsberger et al.); 1 near Kfar Ruppin, 19/Oct (A. Chaver).

Great Snipe (Gallinago media): 1 at Poleg stream, 22/Oct (T. Kahn).

Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipes): 1 remained at Kibbutz Neve Eitan's fish ponds, till 04/Oct (E, Hadad).

Red-necked Phalarope (Phalaropus lobatus): 1 Bror Hayl sewage, (R. Livne); 1 at Nizzana sewage, 14-20/Oct (R. Livne et al.).

Mediterranean Gull (Larus melanocephalus): 2 at Ma'agan Michael, 31/Oct (C. Rozen).

Little Green Bee-eater (Merops orientallis): 1 at Kfar Ruppin, 10/Oct (B. Granit, P. Kinsella).

Olive-backed Pipit (Anthus hodgsoni): 1 at Samar date plantation, 15/Oct (B. Granit, P. Kinsella, L. Gregory).

Icterine Warbler (Hippolais icterina): 1 ringed at Tsor'a, 03/Oct (Y. Kiat et al.); 1 at Sde Boqer, 23/Oct (Y. Charka).

Paddyfield Warbler (Acrocephalus agricola): 1 cought and ringed at the IBRC Eilat, 08/Oct (N. Weiss et al.). The 6th record for Israel.

Yellow-browed Warbler (Philoscopus inornatus): 1 at Eilat, 12/Oct (N. Weiss); 1 at Neot Smadar, 16/Oct (B. Granit, P. Kinsella, L. Gregory); 1 at Bahad 1, 16-20/Oct (B. Granit, P. Kinsella, L. Gregory).

Hume's Warbler (Philoscopus humeii): 1 near G'vat, 08/Oct (P. Kinsella).

Red-breasted Flycatcher (Ficedula parva): several tens during october, mainly in the Negev.

Isabelline Shrike (Lanius isabellinus): several throughout october, in all parts of the country.

Steppe Grey Shrike (Lanius excubitor pallidirostris): 1 near Ein Dochan, 14/Oct (O. Keinan); 1 at Urim, 17/Oct (B. Granit, P. Kinsella, L. Gregory).

Common Rosefinch (Carpodacus erythrinus): 1 on 14/Oct and 1 on 16/Oct at IBRC Eilat (N. Weiss).
