| Greylag Goose (Anser anser): 1 at the Jazra'el valley, 19/Dec (E. Hadad, A. Ben-David); 1 at the Hula reflooded area, 21/Dec (Y. Perlman). | |||||||||
| Red-crested Pochard (Netta rufina): 2 at Tishlovet HaKishon reservoir, 19/Dec (E. Hadad, A. Ben-David). | |||||||||
| Red-breasted Merganser (Mergus serrator): 3 seen flying along Maa'yan Tzvi shoreline, 29/Dec (D. Rotem); 1 at the sea of Galilee, 17/Dec (S. Agmon et al.). | |||||||||
| White-headed Duck (Oxyura leucocephala): Record numbers of this species wintering in Israel this year, with 1457 in Tishlovet reservoir and 1040 in the Judean plains reservoirs (E. Hadad et al.) | |||||||||
