Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipes), Neve Eitan, 25/Sep/2008


On September 25th, a Juvenile Lesser Yellowlegs was observed at Kibbutz Neve Eitan's fish ponds, Bet Shean valley (Peter Kinsella et al.). The bird remained till October 4th.

This is the second record for Israel of this North American Wader. The first dates back to 26th of June 1977, Ma'agan Michael.
