Below is a summary featuring the most interesting observations from this month, based on reports from the ISRABIRDNET mailing list and other sources.
Following is a (short) list of rarities recorded in Israel during the period 25/5 - 25/6/10:

Thick-billed Lark - single birds still seen in S Negev and Arava, leftovers from the large invasion in spring.

Black Bush Robin - 1 at Hazeva, 2/6. Unusual summer record.

one flock of 80 Sand Partridge - all togather, Maale Akrabim road 2.7.10, Amir Ben Dov, Shachar Alterman.

Chough sp. - 5 on Mt. Hermon, 11/6. Amir Ben Dov, Sassi Haham.

Hill Sparrow - many pairs completing their third breeding cycle in the high Negev Mts.
