Below is a summary featuring the most interesting observations from this month, based on reports from the ISRABIRDNET mailing list and other sources.
Following is a list of rarities recorded in Israel during the period 25/6 - 25/7/10:

Purple Swamphen - 1 madagascariensis at Neve Eitan, Bet She'an Valley, 3/7. Avner Rinot.

Bridled Tern - 3 off Eilat's north beach, 23/7.

One flock of 80 Sand Partridge - all togather, Maale Akrabim road 2.7.10, Amir Ben Dov, Shachar Alterman.

Thick-billed Lark - 2 lingering birds in the central Arava, 30/6.

Rock Martin breeding in Ramat Beit Hakerem (in the western part of Jerusalem. Nissim Primo 12/7.
