Terek Sandpiper (Xenus cinereus): 1 at Ma'ayan Zvi fishponds, 10/Aug (A. Cohen); 2 at Nahal Sorek, 23/Aug (E. Hadad).

Whimbrel (Numenius phaeopus): 1 at Ma'agan Michael, 25/Aug onwards (A. Ben-dov, Y. Wasserlauf et al.).

Common Gull (Lars canus): 1 adult, returning for the 4th consecutive year to Ma'agan Michael, 25/Aug onwards (A. Ben-dov, Y. Wasserlauf et al.).

Arctic Tern (Sterna arctica): 1 off Eilat's north beach, 03-12/Aug (N. Weiss).

White-cheeked Tern (Sterna repressa): 1 off Eilat's north beach, 01/Aug (N. Weiss).

Bridled Tern (Sterna anaethetus): 35-40 off Eilat's north beach, 01/Aug (N. Weiss).

Lesser Crested Tern (Sterna bengalensis): off Eilat's north beach, 14 on 01/Aug and up to 5 daily till mid august (N. Weiss).

Black Tern (Chlidonian niger): 1 at Km 20, 12/Aug (M. Craig).

Icterine Warbler (Hippolais icterina): 2 ringed at the Jerusalem Bird observatory on the 28th (S. Agmon et al.).

Pale Rock-Sparrow (Carpospiza brachydactyla): 1 bird caught and ringed at Eilat's ringing station (IBRCE) on the 31st (N. Weiss).
