Birding Tours and Guiding Services

Why Israel?

In a nutshell, Israel is located at an intercontinental junction, thus hosting a huge variety of species. This is the northern boundary of African birds, the western boundary for Asian species and the southern boundary of some western Palearctic species.
This junction is a major migration with roughly 500 million birds using it every spring and autumn. Watching the huge flocks of the soaring birds in migration is an amazing experience - you might get a sense of it from the picture below. We offer a variety of guided tours, from half to seven days, to capture the essence of Israel's magnificent birding opportunities. Our in-depth familiarity with the area and bird's species, combined with the most up-to-date information available, will yield the most out of your visit.
See you in the field!

In order to get an impression of what is to be expected, we recommended you read through the background pages. The migration makes the birdwatching here very dynamic and the variety of birds that you will encounter depends on the time of visit.
According to your needs and fields of interest, we will check whether one of the routes which are presented here is suitable for you. If this is not the case, we will update the program accordingly and send you a copy to review.
After consolidating the program, you will receive a mail requesting confirmation of your booking.
For further information please contact us.
Please note:
currently, we are offering only private tours. In case of other bookings during the time of your tour, we will offer you to join a group - the cost of guiding does not change and will be divided between the participants.
